Collaborative dance film with MDCD and local community

Short Films

For artists exploring dance/art/creativity on camera as a work in itself.

Community dance film

Why is it important?

Short dance and art films are powerful stand-alone works — perfect for festivals, galleries, or digital platforms.

It is a powerful way to explore ideas, tell stories, and bring people together through movement and visuals. Whether working with professional dancers, community groups, or in health-based contexts, these films go beyond performance — they become lasting, accessible works that resonate across industries and audiences. The process of creating together is just as important as the final film — building connection, creativity, and meaning along the way and also creating space for dialogue, reflection, and community — making them vital cultural tools in both artistic and social landscapes.

How can this type of content be filmed?

There’s no fixed formula for how I film these projects — every idea, setting, and group brings something unique, and I shape my approach around that. Whether it’s working with professional dancers, a community collaboration, or a dance and health project, I work flexibly and intuitively, responding to the energy, needs, and dynamics of the group. Some projects are highly choreographed, others are more improvised or exploratory — and that’s the beauty of it. I’m there to support the creative vision and help bring the project to life in a way that feels right for everyone involved.
